Welcome to DoorBasket! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchases from us. By placing an order with DoorBasket, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please take a moment to read them carefully.

1. General Conditions

  • Acceptance of Terms: By using our site, you confirm that you are of legal age to make a purchase in your area.
  • Business Information: DoorBasket is operated and based in margao. We source all the products locally which are delivered to vendors directly from farms and fresh each day. 
  • FSSAI Compliance: We are a licensed Food Business Operator (FBO) in India. We are committed to adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations as mandated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

2. Products and Services

  • Product Descriptions: We do our best to provide accurate descriptions, images, and prices for all our vegetables. However, since our produce is fresh and natural, its size, color, and appearance may vary slightly from the photos. All weights are approximate.
  • Availability: All products are subject to availability. If a product you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you to offer a suitable replacement or a refund for that item.
  • Pricing: All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. The final price for your order will be the one shown at checkout.

3. Ordering and Payment

  • Order Placement: You can place an order through our website. You'll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed, but this isn't a guarantee of fulfillment.
  • Payment: We accept debit cards, UPI, net banking, Cash on Delivery (COD). By submitting your payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
  • Order Cancellation: You can cancel your order before 30 minutes after placing an order, before the scheduled delivery window. However if the order is packed and already out for delivery,  cancellation charges may apply. Please contact our support team at doorbasket.in@gmail.com to request a cancellation. Cancellations requested after this time may not be possible.

4. Delivery and Responsibility

  • Delivery Area: We deliver to specific locations within south goa, Please check if your address falls within our delivery radius before placing an order.
  • Delivery Timelines: We strive to deliver your order within the specified time slot. However, please be aware that minor delays may occur due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances. We'll do our best to inform you of any significant delays.
  • Delivery Acceptance: Someone must be available at the provided address to accept the delivery. We cannot offer a refund or re-delivery if a delivery fails because no one was available.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Please refer to our dedicated Refund Policy Page for our complete policy on damaged or unsatisfactory products.
  • As our products are perishable, we cannot accept returns for reasons other than a quality issue, such as a change of mind.

6. User Account and Conduct

  • Account Information: You are responsible for keeping your account information and password safe. You agree to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Prohibited Use: You may not use our products or website for any illegal purpose. You must not introduce any viruses or other destructive code.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website, including text, logos, images, and product information, is the property of DoorBasket and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoorBasket will not be liable for any indirect damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our liability is limited to the cost of the products purchased.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We may update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. It's your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates. Your continued use of the website after any changes means you accept those changes.
